FAQ

No. agentistics runs on your machine and reads the files your assistants already write to disk, such as ~/.claude/, ~/.codex/sessions/ and ~/.copilot/session-state/.

Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Copilot, Antigravity, Kimi and OpenCode. What each one can measure depends on what it writes to disk.

Because that harness does not produce that data. Gemini’s local files, for example, carry no tokens. Showing 0 would be a wrong answer that looks right; N/A says the data does not exist.

Not necessarily. Every cost is an API-price estimate. If you pay a flat subscription, register your plan in Settings → Billing to see the spend compared with what you pay.

From three layers: a table built into the binary, a community dataset and the vendors’ pages. In Settings → Pricing you see every model your machine has used and which layer its price came from.

Claude Code deletes old sessions. Do I lose my history?

Section titled “Claude Code deletes old sessions. Do I lose my history?”

Claude Code deletes transcripts older than cleanupPeriodDays (30 days by default). On first run agentistics asks what to keep: consolidate (recommended, only each session’s metrics), full (the transcripts too) or off. See Getting started.

Yes, with the .msi or .exe installer from the releases page. The session manager depends on tmux, so to start and follow sessions on Windows run agentop inside WSL.

The install script tries to install tmux for you. If it could not (no root and no sudo, for example), install it with your system’s package manager, such as apt install tmux.

Pick another port for the API; the web goes on the next one:

Janela do terminal
agentop server --port 4000 # API on 4000, web on 4001

Can other machines on the network reach the server?

Section titled “Can other machines on the network reach the server?”

agentop server listens on every network interface. On a network you do not control, block ports 47291 and 47292 in your firewall.

Janela do terminal
agentop upgrade

To be told about new versions when you open a terminal, enable autostart with agentop autostart server enable: it also installs an update notice in ~/.bashrc.
