Install

One line:

Janela do terminal
curl -fsSL https://agentistics.com.br/cli | bash

The script:

  • downloads the right agentop binary for your machine from the latest GitHub release (Linux x86_64 with glibc or musl, macOS x86_64 or arm64);
  • installs it to ~/.local/bin (or /usr/local/bin when run as root);
  • installs tmux if it is missing, because the session manager depends on it;
  • tells you if the install folder is not on your PATH.

If you see the PATH notice, add the folder:

Janela do terminal
echo 'export PATH="${HOME}/.local/bin:${PATH}"' >> ~/.bashrc && source ~/.bashrc
Janela do terminal
npm i -g @agentistics/agentop

It is the same binary, downloaded from the same release during postinstall. On any other platform the npm install fails with a clear message. Requires Node 18 or newer.

Download the latest .msi or .exe from the releases page. On first launch agentistics detects where your Claude Code data lives (native Windows or WSL).

If SmartScreen warns you, click “More info” and then “Run anyway”: the binary is not code-signed yet.

The session manager (agentop session, the sessions tab) needs tmux. On Windows, run agentop inside WSL to use that part.

Janela do terminal
agentop --version
agentop --help
Janela do terminal
agentop upgrade

upgrade downloads the latest version, verifies the download before swapping the binary, keeps the previous one as .bak and restarts the services that were running. To only find out whether there is a new version:

Janela do terminal
agentop check-update

It stays silent when you are already on the latest version.
