VS Code

The extension puts the session fleet inside the editor: every Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Copilot, Kimi and Antigravity session your machine is running, what each one is doing and which ones are waiting on you.

  • Shows the whole fleet, grouped by project, with the session that needs you at the top. You can pin the ones you use most.
  • Shows the live screen of a session, colours and cursor included, streamed from the session itself.
  • Lets you type into it. Click the screen and your keys go to the session, including Enter, Esc, Tab, the arrows and Ctrl-C.
  • Answers questions. When a session is waiting on a permission prompt, the options are read off its screen and listed for you to pick.
  • Has the cockpit’s verbs: rename, note, file under a task, reopen and stop (with a confirmation).
  • Attaches for real. One click opens an integrated terminal running the same tmux command agentop uses.
  • Opens sessions as editor tabs, several at once.
  • Shows today’s cost in the status bar (cost, tokens and session count, in USD or BRL) and how many sessions are waiting on you, with a notification when one starts waiting.
  • agentistics running on the machine: agentop server. If nothing answers, the panel says so and offers to start the server.
  • tmux for the sessions part: Linux, macOS, or WSL on Windows. The metrics and the status bar work wherever the server runs.

The extension never reads your files or talks to tmux directly: everything comes from the local server, over HTTP, on 127.0.0.1.
